Introduction

SVKM’s NMIMS every year conducts the UG Entrance examination for class XII passed out / appearing candidates to be eligible to their UG Programs across campuses. The Entrance Examination is a computer based online examination to be held at the test centers. NMIMS NPAT offers following courses

ELIGIBILITY

B.B.A. / B. Com (Hons.) / B. Sc. Finance.

  • Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
  • Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent examination is mandatory for Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/ Bengaluru campus.
B.Sc. – Economics

  • Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board
  • Minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
  • Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent examination is mandatory
BBA – Branding and  Advertising

How to Apply for NMIMS 2022 

 

  • Visit the Official NMIMS Application Link
  • Read the online prospectus/brochure carefully, before filling the application.
  • Step 1: Initial Registration 
  • For registration click on “Apply Now” and create an account.
  • Candidate will get the registration number on their registration email id. to fill and complete the application form
  • Step 2: Select Test category / school / Program/ Preferences
  • Based on eligibility criteria select Test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMSCET / NMIMS-LAT) / School / Program and campus preferences.
  • Candidate can select multiple test category / multiple schools and multiple program preferences
  • Step 3: Pay the application fee and  complete the process
  • The registration fees is based on the number of  Schools selected for each
    test category and the total retakes.
  • Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam.
  • Candidate can choose 1 main and 2 retakes for each of the examination category. In all, a
    candidate will be given chance to appear total 3  times of whichever exam he wishes to appear
  • Step 4: Select Test  center / Test date
  • After the successful registration, the candidate will get options to choose the test date/s and test center.
  • Test dates / Test center  availability will be subject to Test center capacity.
  • It will be available to  the candidate modestly  on first come first serve.

Examination Pattern

a) Admit Card

  • Candidate can Download NMIMS Admit Card by Logging in to NMIMS Website
  • Post scheduling of the examination the admit card is generated. The admit card shows the chosen date of examination, City and Test center.
  • This is available on the dashboard of the Candidate. Kindly download the admit card by logging to your dashboard.
  • Carrying hard copy of the admit card is mandatory. In absence of which the candidate will not be allowed to take the examination.
  • The verification staff at the test center will compare the photograph on the admit card with the person appearing for the examination. Therefore, candidate is requested to upload their recent photograph to avoid any confusion at the test center.
  • Candidate also needs to carry any one original ID proof along with its photocopy to the test center. (Voters ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card / Driving License (Learner license will not be accepted) / 12th Admit Card / PAN Card.)

b) Exam Pattern

  • NMIMS-NPAT Exam will comprise of 3 major sections as follows, No Negative marks:
  • Type of questions and difficulty level of Tests will be as per SAT Exam pattern.

The Date and Test is as per the availability and therefore the candidate should schedule their examination as soon as he/she receives the communication

RETAKE/S: Candidate can attempt maximum 2 RETAKES in any selected category i.e. (1st main test plus 2 retakes). The highest marks among the total attempts will be considered for respective school merit process. The candidate will be able to select the dates after 20 days from his / her main attempt.

Once the payment is done, candidate cannot add any more School/program preference of test

Selection Process

  • Merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in NMIMS-NPAT exam.
  • The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
