The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for  admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities for academic session 2023-24 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE).

  • The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without
    mask) visible including ears against a white background.
    ii. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
    iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
    iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearlylegible).
    v. The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWSetc.) should
    be between 50kb to 300kb in pdf (clearly legible).

CUET UG 2023 DETAILS:

Introduction

CUET 2023 – National Testing Agency has started the CUET 2023 registration process on February 9, at the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in. The last date to fill CUET application form 2023 is March 12, 2023. NTA has announced the Common University Entrance Exam 2023 dates. The CUET 2023 will be conducted from May 21 to 31 for admission to undergraduate and integrated postgraduate courses in the 90 participating universities. Candidates can register themselves, submit the required documents and pay the pre-requisite fee to complete the CUET 2023 application process. CUET city of examination will be announced on April 30, 2023. CUET admit card 2023 will be issued in the second week of May. CUET 2023 result will be announced in third week of June.

The CUET will be conducted in three slots as computer-based test. There will be four sections in the exam, Section 1A (language test), Section 1B (optional language test), Section 2 (domain-specific test) and Section 3 (general test). All the participating universities will accept the CUET score for admission to UG courses.

CUET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for CUET UG, candidates must check the complete eligibility criteria. NTA sets the eligibility criteria to sit for CUET UG exam, however, the programme-specific eligibility is set by the participating universities. To be eligible for the CUET 2023, candidate must have passed Class 10+2 from a recognised board. All the candidates must check the official websites of their respective universities to know the eligibility criteria.

Following are the complete details regarding the CUET 2023 application form:

  • The application form for CUET 2023 is now available through online mode.
  • The CUET (UG) 2023 Application form has been released on 9th February 2023
  • Before applying for the application form, candidate must check the eligibility criteria.
  • Fill the application form with details like personal, educational qualification, contact number, etc.
  • At the time of registration, candidates must also upload the scanned documents like photographs, mark sheet, and signatures in the application form.
  • The application form for CUET (PG) will release from third week of April 2023 to third week of May 2023.
  • Authority will also provide the correction facility for the candidates but for some specific fields & for limited time period only.
  • The correction facility for UG courses will start from first week of May 2023 and for PG courses it will start from third week of May 2023.
  • Candidates need to take the printout of the application form for future references

 

  • How to Apply for CUET 2023

    • Step-1: Visit the official website of CUET 2023.
    • Step-2: For fresh registration, click on “Registration” option.
    • Step-3: Go through complete instructions & procedure of online submission of form.
    • Step-4: Fill personal information & other asked details.
    • Step-5: Choose password & fill the security pin and submit other required details.
    • Step-6: Preview your details & enter OTP details.
    • Step-7: Now login using application no. & password.
    • Step-8: Fill the “University name & programme” of your choice.
    • Step-9: Select test paper & subject for first/ second slot of the examination.
    • Step-10: Select four exam centres as per your preference.
    • Step-11: Upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
    • Step-12: Re-check the details & then submit the fee as per no. of course.
    • Step-13: Now click on, “Submit” option.
    • Step-14: A confirmation page will appear on your screen, take its printout for future use.

CUET UG 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check following points regarding CUET 2023 exam pattern for UG  courses:

UG courses:

  • Exam mode: The examination will be held via online as Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Questions Type: Question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions.
  • Language: There will be 13 languages for UG level course.
  • Time Duration: For Slot I, candidates will be given 3 hours 15 minutes 3 hours 45 minutes for Slot II.
  • No. of Sections: CUET UG will include sections as Section IA, Section IB, Section II and Section III.
  • Total No. of Questions: 100 questions will be asked in the question paper.
  • Marking Scheme: 5 marks will be credited for each correct answer while 1 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

  • 13 different languages – Punjabi, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, English, Hindi, Odia, Tamil, & Urdu
  • 20 different languages – Dogri, Italian, Santhali, Tibetan, Arabic, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Persian, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Bodo, Russian, Chinese, Nepali.
